FAQ – Addiction and Treatment

Deciding where to receive treatment for addiction can be confusing as you navigate through the information provided by various programs. We hope that the information provided in the responses to these FAQs can provide you with the clarity you need as you choose to begin your path to recovery and a happy, fulfilled life. Aspire is ready to welcome you today.

How is Aspire Treatment Solutions different from other treatment programs?

Our team is truly invested in the well-being of each person who walks through our doors. We develop authentic relationships with and take a personal interest in each individual on a daily basis. At Aspire we believe our connection-building process is unique.  To start, we will connect you with others on the path to recovery, providing you with a safe place to be vulnerable and face the challenges that come with recovery.  And we will also provide avenues (e.g., adventure-based therapy, yoga, etc.) to connect through fresh, positive, joy-filled experiences.

Do your staff members have personal experience overcoming addiction?

The Aspire team is made up of a diverse group of professionals from a variety of backgrounds. We are proud to have employees in recovery as well as employees who choose to work in this field due to the impact of addiction on their families’ lives. Additionally, Aspire has top-notch professionals who are passionate about watching people overcome struggles that have burdened them for so long.

What is the difference between PHP and IOP?

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a full-time commitment for a season. This program is for individuals who need significant structure in the journey toward recovery. Our Partial Hospitalization Program offers a stable schedule for you to focus on your recovery and to get the help you need.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a great option for individuals who are stepping down from the Partial Hospitalization.  This program offers therapeutic support with fewer restrictions than our Partial Hospitalization Program.   IOP enables you to continue your recovery therapies on a part-time, intensive schedule designed to accommodate your work, school and family life.

What if my loved one is not ready for treatment but needs it?

Watching addiction take control of a loved one’s life is one of the most difficult situations to witness. We would love to have a non-intrusive conversation with your loved one to see if we can help. It is difficult to watch loved ones hurt themselves via addiction.  We understand this and, as a result, have a big heart for family members who never give up on their child, spouse, parent or sibling.  Contact us.  We can help.

How do I know which program is best for my situation?

Let us help you figure that out.  We will work together to determine what is best for you. Each treatment plan we create is completely unique to the needs and situation of the individual. We offer a tailor-made treatment plan that will best support your needs and accommodate your work, school, and family responsibilities. Prior to starting with us at Aspire, we will create your personalized treatment plan and continually monitor it as you progress through our offered programs.

What is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and how will it help?

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps patients understand the thoughts and feelings that influence their behaviors.  CBT gets at the source of and motivation for addiction.  CBT reframes negative cognitions into more helpful ways of thinking. This change in thought can lead to development of new behaviors, improved mental health, and, ultimately, lifelong recovery from addiction.

Hear From Others Who Have Recovered At Aspire

What makes Aspire different is the staff truly cares about you. A lot of other places I’ve been to focus on the business, not the clients. Aspire’s main focus is the clients. It was the perfect balance between fun in recovery and structure. I would recommend Aspire to any who is truly seeking help.
